About us

Designed by Textile Engineers. Refined with the Beauty Community.

We were university classmates studying textile engineering when we began exploring a simple question: Could a vegan filament recreate the performance people value in natural animal hair?

Drawing on our background in textile science, we developed a bio-inspired filament with carefully engineered surface friction. At a microscopic scale, its texture is designed to support confident powder pickup, controlled release, and smooth, even blending. These surface details are too small to see with the naked eye, but they can make a meaningful difference in how a makeup brush performs.

Inspired by Nature. Made Without Animal Hair.

We also refined the tactile quality of the filament to make it exceptionally soft and comfortable on the skin. Our goal is to create a thoughtful vegan alternative that delivers the control, softness, and consistency makeup users expect.

Built With Curiosity and Humility

We are textile engineers, not lifelong makeup artists. We studied makeup techniques, compared many different brushes, and tested how fiber behavior, shape, density, and construction influence application. But experienced makeup users and professional artists understand brushes in ways that laboratory testing alone cannot capture.

That is why Mirael Beauty is designed as an ongoing collaboration. We welcome honest feedback, practical suggestions, and new ideas from the people who use our brushes. Together, we hope to develop better tools that feel beautiful, perform reliably, and respect animals.

Two Fibers Under the Microscope

The images below compare coyote hair with the bio-inspired filament we designed. Natural hair contains fine surface structures that influence friction and powder interaction. Our filament approaches this behavior through engineered surface texture while remaining vegan and cruelty-free.
